I was born in 1971 in Alkmaar and grew up in Heerhugowaard. After VWO I started my studies at the University of Twente in 1989, where I graduated in 1994 in Computer Science with Business Administration as a second study.
After several years of employment, mainly at Hoogovens (now Tata Steel), I have been an entrepreneur since 2001. Until 2012, I provided various ICT services to SMBs. Since 2012, I have focused, often in collaboration with large international IT service providers, on complex environments within the Enterprise market. In these roles, I work as a Solution Architect, Deal Solution Manager, and Technical Project Manager.

In addition to my work as an ICT infrastructure architect, I also hold a Private Pilot License (PPL). Flying combines technology, precision, systems thinking and the constant monitoring of safety and coherence - qualities that I apply daily in my work. My passion for aviation reminds me of the importance of maintaining an overview in complex environments.
