Infrastructure Architect &amp; Technical Lead Transition<\/strong><br data-start=\"369\" data-end=\"372\" \/>Directly responsible for the technical management of the transition of HTM&#039;s entire ICT infrastructure landscape to the TCS management organization, following a won outsourcing tender.<\/p><p data-start=\"575\" data-end=\"633\">As technical contact for both HTM and TCS, I have:<\/p><ul data-start=\"634\" data-end=\"859\"><li data-start=\"634\" data-end=\"725\"><p data-start=\"636\" data-end=\"725\">managed the substantive knowledge transfer,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"726\" data-end=\"803\"><p data-start=\"728\" data-end=\"803\">the existing ICT infrastructure landscape compared to what is \u201cmarket-based\u201d,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"804\" data-end=\"859\"><p data-start=\"806\" data-end=\"859\">actively engaged with delivery teams and suppliers.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"861\" data-end=\"1166\">In addition, I designed and presented a realistic transformation plan to HTM&#039;s CIO and IT management, focusing on stabilizing, modernizing, and future-proofing the IT infrastructure\u2014including priorities in the areas of availability, security, and cloud integration.<\/p><h4 data-start=\"260\" data-end=\"526\">\ud83d\udcbc <strong data-start=\"263\" data-end=\"305\">Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) \u2013 2023<\/strong><\/h4><p data-start=\"260\" data-end=\"526\"><strong data-start=\"308\" data-end=\"353\">Role: Solution Architect \u2013 Public Sector<\/strong><br data-start=\"353\" data-end=\"356\" \/>Responsible for the complete technical design within multiple RFI and RFP processes for organizations such as <strong data-start=\"473\" data-end=\"498\">The Dutch Central Bank<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"500\" data-end=\"512\">Land Registry<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"516\" data-end=\"523\">HTM<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"528\" data-end=\"597\">In close cooperation with bid management and account managers:<\/p><ul data-start=\"598\" data-end=\"884\"><li data-start=\"598\" data-end=\"700\"><p data-start=\"600\" data-end=\"700\">I designed realistic and scalable solutions (incl. cloud, network and platform architecture),<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"701\" data-end=\"787\"><p data-start=\"703\" data-end=\"787\">I substantiated this substantively towards the customer and internally towards delivery teams,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"788\" data-end=\"884\"><p data-start=\"790\" data-end=\"884\">I ensured alignment between commercial principles, SLAs and technical feasibility.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"886\" data-end=\"1102\">My role went beyond advice: I monitored technical consistency, provided key content for contractual documents, and acted as a content-sparring partner for senior stakeholders at both the client and the provider.<\/p><hr data-start=\"1104\" data-end=\"1107\" \/><h4 data-start=\"1109\" data-end=\"1375\">\ud83c\udfe5 <strong data-start=\"1112\" data-end=\"1139\">Spaarne Hospital \u2013 2022<\/strong><\/h4><p data-start=\"1109\" data-end=\"1375\"><br data-start=\"1139\" data-end=\"1142\" \/><strong data-start=\"1142\" data-end=\"1198\">Role: Independent advisor to CIO and IT management<\/strong><br data-start=\"1198\" data-end=\"1201\" \/>Asked as an independent expert to provide a second opinion on the feasibility of the intended outsourcing strategy, as laid down in the contract documentation and RFPs.<\/p><p data-start=\"1377\" data-end=\"1561\">My analysis revealed a crucial gap between the intended governance role of the internal organization and the actual technical and organizational agreements with suppliers.<\/p><p data-start=\"1563\" data-end=\"1579\">Specifically I have:<\/p><ul data-start=\"1580\" data-end=\"1874\"><li data-start=\"1580\" data-end=\"1626\"><p data-start=\"1582\" data-end=\"1626\">a critical infrastructure scan performed,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1627\" data-end=\"1786\"><p data-start=\"1629\" data-end=\"1786\">determined that the planned data center move without IP changes was technically unfeasible \u2014 even with advanced SDN solutions like VMware NSX,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1787\" data-end=\"1874\"><p data-start=\"1789\" data-end=\"1874\">concrete alternatives and mitigating measures proposed to IT management.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1876\" data-end=\"1976\">My report served as input for recalibrating the strategy and risk management at board level.<\/p><hr data-start=\"1978\" data-end=\"1981\" \/><h4 data-start=\"1983\" data-end=\"2318\">\u2601\ufe0f <strong data-start=\"1986\" data-end=\"2011\">T-Systems \u2013 2012\u20132022<\/strong><\/h4><p data-start=\"1983\" data-end=\"2318\"><br data-start=\"2011\" data-end=\"2014\" \/><strong data-start=\"2014\" data-end=\"2086\">Role: Solution Architect \/ Deal Solution Manager \u2013 enterprise customers<\/strong><br data-start=\"2086\" data-end=\"2089\" \/>For 10 years, I was responsible for the design and substantiation of complex infrastructure solutions within Managed Cloud Services for organizations in industry, agri-food, and business services.<\/p><p data-start=\"2320\" data-end=\"2442\">I operated in a central role within both <strong data-start=\"2366\" data-end=\"2379\">(pre-)sales<\/strong> as <strong data-start=\"2384\" data-end=\"2420\">transition and implementation teams<\/strong>, with tasks including:<\/p><ul data-start=\"2443\" data-end=\"2688\"><li data-start=\"2443\" data-end=\"2520\"><p data-start=\"2445\" data-end=\"2520\">designing technical platforms for business-critical applications,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2521\" data-end=\"2610\"><p data-start=\"2523\" data-end=\"2610\">drawing up realistic transition and migration plans (including costing &amp; pricing),<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2611\" data-end=\"2688\"><p data-start=\"2613\" data-end=\"2688\">substantive coordination between sales, bid and service teams and end customers,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2611\" data-end=\"2688\">technically manage (near-shore) operational experts<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"2690\" data-end=\"2722\">Technically I delivered, among other things:<\/p><ul data-start=\"2723\" data-end=\"2960\"><li data-start=\"2723\" data-end=\"2804\"><p data-start=\"2725\" data-end=\"2804\"><strong data-start=\"2725\" data-end=\"2762\">twin-core data center architectures<\/strong> with VMware vSphere, SAN\/NAS, backup &amp; DR,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2805\" data-end=\"2878\"><p data-start=\"2807\" data-end=\"2878\">hybrid cloud solutions with private components and Azure integrations,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2879\" data-end=\"2960\"><p data-start=\"2881\" data-end=\"2960\">governance-supported infrastructures aligned with SLAs and compliance requirements.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"2962\" data-end=\"3171\">I worked on projects for, among others: <strong data-start=\"2996\" data-end=\"3004\">Vion<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"3006\" data-end=\"3024\">Wolters Kluwer<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"3026\" data-end=\"3046\">FrieslandCampina<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"3048\" data-end=\"3058\">Ordina<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"3062\" data-end=\"3073\">ProRail<\/strong>, always in close collaboration with client organizations and multidisciplinary teams within T-Systems.<\/p><hr data-start=\"3173\" data-end=\"3176\" \/><h4 data-start=\"3178\" data-end=\"3481\">\ud83d\udda5\ufe0f <strong data-start=\"3182\" data-end=\"3219\">Various SME companies \u2013 2001\u20132012<\/strong><\/h4><p data-start=\"3178\" data-end=\"3481\"><br data-start=\"3219\" data-end=\"3222\" \/><strong data-start=\"3222\" data-end=\"3281\">Role: Independent IT specialist &amp; all-round IT manager<\/strong><br data-start=\"3281\" data-end=\"3284\" \/>Fully responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of ICT infrastructures at approximately 15 smaller organisations (1\u201370 workstations), including those in accountancy, retail and medical services.<\/p><p data-start=\"3483\" data-end=\"3506\">Activities include:<\/p><ul data-start=\"3507\" data-end=\"3757\"><li data-start=\"3507\" data-end=\"3596\"><p data-start=\"3509\" data-end=\"3596\">supply and installation of servers, storage, networks, workstations and peripherals,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3597\" data-end=\"3628\"><p data-start=\"3599\" data-end=\"3628\">1st to 3rd line support,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3629\" data-end=\"3704\"><p data-start=\"3631\" data-end=\"3704\">Microsoft infrastructures (Windows Server, Exchange, Active Directory),<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3705\" data-end=\"3757\"><p data-start=\"3707\" data-end=\"3757\">local management and on-site service with short lines.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"3759\" data-end=\"3871\">This
